The maximum an individual may contribute is $5,400; $2,700 in the Primary election and $2,700 in the General Election. The maximum a couple may contribute is $10,800 from a joint account. The maximum a Federal Multi-Candidate PAC may contribute is $10,000-$5,000 for the Primary Election and $5,000 for The General Election.. Contributions are not tax deductable for charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Contributions by foreign nationals (non-greeen card holders), labor unions and federal governement contractors are prohibited. Corporations and individulas are strictly prohibited from reimbursing another person for making a contribution . All contributions are subject to limitations and regulations set by the Federal Election Commission.
